Specification:
- Operating temperature range: - 40 to 100 degree Ceslius
- Capacitance range: 0.01 to 2.2uF
- Capacitance tolerance: +/- 5% (J), +/- 10% (K), and +/-20% (M)
- Rated voltage: 250 and 275V AC, 50 to 60Hz
- Dissipation factor: 0.1% max when measured at 1kHz, 25 degree Celsius
- Insulation resistance (IR): measured after a charging voltage 100 +/- 15V DC for one minute
- If C less than to 0.33uF, IR greater than 15,000M
- If C less than 0.33uF, IR greater than equal to 5,000M.uF
- Voltage between terminals test:
- Applied 1,185V DC for one minute or 2,000V DC for two seconds
- Humidity-test: with stand the test of RH 95% at 40 degree Celsius for 21 days, after the test the capacitance drift less than equal to 5%, IR greater than equal to 50% if specified value
- Life test: test voltage 313V AC shall be applied for 1,008 hours in the 100 degree Celsius chamber during this period, 1,000V AC 60Hz for a period of 0.1 sec be applied once each hour
- After the test, the capacitor must meet the each hour
After the test, the capacitor must meet the following limits:
- Capacitance drift less than equal to 10% of the initial value
- Insulation resistance greater than equal to 50% of specified value
- Lead pull test: with stand a steady pull of 10N applied axially for 10 seconds
- Leads bend test: the test consists of attaching a load of 10N to the capacitor 90 degrees from the direction of lead, 180 degrees in opposite direction, and back to starting point
