On to the antenna, it really improves the range of the 200mw 5.8G system, ground range testing out to 1 mile today with crystal clear signal, so a definite improvement over the stock receiver antenna. The only downside to all patch antennas is that it is 'directional' meaning that you must have the front side of the antenna pointing (roughly) at the plane in order to have clear signal- point the antenna away from the plane and you get static almost immediately...
