Pros:works fine with all kinds of gimbals, from GoPro to Sony NEX... Only need to load the right GUI and you can work with it. It´s nothing for newbies! Much cheaper than the original board from BaseCam and also works like this. May be, I did buy 15 or more up today.
Cons:Can´t find some Cons.
Other Thoughts:Like all other boards for gimbal it is nothing for newbies! If you want to spare money and buy this board, you should have some experience with gimbals and the boards!
Bottomline:One of the best boards for your gimbal
Works fantastic once you find the correct GUI

Pros:Surprisingly this is the best BGC I have and the cheapest by far.
Cons:No software supplied, at least a link to where to get it from would be useful.
Other Thoughts:Get the GUI here
http://www.http://www.basecamelectronics.com/files/v10/SimpleBGC_GUI_2_2b2.zip
Hopefully they don't block links here, if they do, go here basecamelectronics dot com
Go to downloads
click the 8 bit banner
scroll down to 2.2b2
Get the GUI
DO NOT try to update the firmware, you've been warned.
Bottomline:Buy it, I will buy more as needed.
Very happy with it.

Pros:Plug and play replacement for a damaged board. Works perfectly!
Cons:None!
Other Thoughts:Great price for this board and sensor.
Bottomline:I purchased this to replace a board that had been damaged in a crash. I had thought the board was to be supplied without software, and was looking forward to quite an experience programming it from scratch. However, upon powering it up after installing on my gimbal, it worked right away, and balanced the GoPro 3 perfectly. I'm very happy with the price and performance.

Pros:Great board.
You can find all the software you need here:
http://www.basecamelectronics.com/simplebgc/
GUI at bottom of page, all other links on right of page
Cons:No instructions, had to chase it all up.
Had to calibrate too, was not done from factory.
Cannot upgrade to any other versions as stated, but works great once calibrated
Other Thoughts:Using it in a hexacopter with an aluminium gimbal, works a treat
Bottomline:Great value or money
  Good for price

Pros:Cheap, Powerful, many possibilities (tested rc pitch control with speed mode, angle mode).
Correct cable.
Cons:Need some knowledge to calibrate pid
Other Thoughts:Use Simple BGC GUI v2.2 b2
Do not connect + 5VCC with Rx to use external pitch control if already connected to another source (ESC...).
Bottomline:Well packed fast delivery for Far East, thanks GoodLuckBuy !

Pros:both boards work like a charme - but ok, I know how to handle such devices - otherwise I shouldn't buy them.
Cons:unfortunately the Pin-Headers already soldered - this could be nice for some guys, but I would like do it by myself - because I don't nee a lot of those soldered pinheader
Other Thoughts:leave the pinheader unsoldered - or give me an option to buy it unsoldered - even unflashed
Bottomline:I guess I will buy a few more of this Boards

Pros:CHEAP. Nothing else.
Cons:Motors are not spinning, no movement, just anoing sound. Couldn´t find any working software to adjust the parameters.
Installed version is 0.53 b4. No instructions and "wrong" cable. on the sensor is a five pin header but only four cables. So I assume to use only the left four connection headers.
Other Thoughts:The seller should give us any idea how to set up this system. No support, just the not working blank board
Bottomline:if you want a working one, probably you should pay ten times more and have a working solution?!
